When we set out for our latest photoshoot at the beautiful Kauralus Gardens in Gisborne, we knew we were in for something special. But as the golden-hour light poured over the gardens, illuminating petals and jewelry alike, the magic truly came to life. With a stellar team and a touch of nature’s charm, the results were beyond anything we could have hoped for.

Runa transformed every frame into a work of art, The dreamy shots through vintage mirrors, the delicate hands holding wild blooms – these weren’t just photos; they were scenes from a fairytale.
Thank you to our gorgeous models: Ruby Kuru, Bec Kauralus, and Bex McPhail. And while Bec was dazzling in front of the camera, she also worked her magic as our makeup artist, creating natural, dewy looks that complemented each piece perfectly. Each outfit was carefully chosen from Lula Sea’s exclusive Gisborne stockist boutique on Main Street, and the result was pure synergy between clothing and jewelry.
And then there was the light – that beautiful, soft glow we hit right at golden hour. It bathed the scene in warm tones, creating a storybook quality that felt almost otherworldly. Capturing not just the beauty of our jewellery but the inspiring connection to nature that Lula Sea treasures.
